I'm the arts programmer for a terrific new festival, L Fest, for lesbians and their friends. The brainchild of Cindy Edwards, L Fest launched in 2011 with a fabulous weekend of bands, readings, theatre, dancing, workshops and happy campers. Here's a video. I'm also a group facilitator. In summer 2010 I worked at the Koestler Trust on their annual exhibition of art by offenders, secure patients and detainees. I coordinated an amazing team of volunteer curators who were all people seriously affected by crime. The show was at London's Southbank Centre for six weeks and was a great success. I'm also busy with my book publishing venture, Tollington Press, and copywriting for businesses such as Portus Consulting. I've set up web pages for WEA Wirksworth, writer Frances Gapper and others.

Past experience includes working on a national campaign for unemployed people with Wild Woman social enterprise, running Diva Books, and running the York Lesbian Arts Festival.

I have worked freelance on Diva magazine as books editor and contributing editor; and on business titles Director and Employee Benefits as a journalist and subeditor.

My novel The Touch Typist is out of print but available from Amazon. I've also edited three short-story anthologies for Diva Books, two of which won Lambda Literary Awards. My latest publication is a short story in the Boys & Girls anthology edited by Paul Burston. You can buy it from the publisher, Glasshouse Books.

For a couple of years I was a monthly compere at Bar Wotever's alternative cabaret nights at the Royal Vauxhall Tavern in south London, with a few poems thrown in. I have performed, MC'd or chaired events everywhere from the Corris Institute in mid Wales to the Royal Festival Hall.
